WiseAPM DialTest is a tool to conduct distributed proactive monitoring through nodes around the world. It can simulate user access to domain names, page URLs, APIs, etc., detect network link quality, monitor website transaction availability, and proactively perceive user application access experience to detect problems in advance and reduce customer attrition rate.

It can be used to monitor the availability of webpages and API interfaces. Once the availability rate of the webpage or API interface is lower than the preset threshold value, it will send alert notifications by text message, email or phone call. At the same time, it can process and analyze data collected and produce various performance indicators during webpage/interface access, thereby providing support for optimizing the webpages or interfaces access performance. Common indicators include: DNS elapsed time, connection establishment time, SSL elapsed time, first package time, download time, etc.

It proactively conducts PING monitoring on the target host through test nodes to obtain data about network delay time and packet loss. It can be used to test the networking quality or speed, etc. Main indicators include: delay time and packet loss rate.

It obtains the target IP by resolving the domain name of the target through test nodes. It can be used to detect the occurrence of domain name hijacking and the distribution of CDN nodes.

It proactively checks the ports of target domain names/IP to monitor the connection state of those ports in different regions. It can be used to check the running status of the domain name/IP.

It monitors the gateway, router, city, and operator along a node’ access path to the target host through monitoring traceroute at test nodes. Data monitored mainly include information about the full links from the starting node to the accessed target host, total route hops count, the network delay time of each area and host nodes passed.

Based on the page monitor, it detects the performance indicators and errors of each element on a webpage to provide support for optimizing webpage elements performance.
